Police Appeal for information

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following two robberies which happened in King’s Lynn on Tuesday night (5 November 2019).

The first incident happened around 10.10pm as the victim, a 54-year-old man, walked near All Saints Church in Hillington Square. He was approached by another man who punched him several times and verbally threatened him, before stealing his phone. The victim suffered a fractured cheekbone.

The suspect fled the scene, in the company of two youths who were riding bikes. They headed in the direction of Valingers Road and South Everard Street.

A short time later, between 10.15pm and 10.40pm, a second incident happened in Rollesby Road where a 19-year-old man was robbed of his bike, mobile phone, hat and tobacco. The teenager was cycling near to Guy-Raymond when he was approached from behind by three people. The victim was pulled from his bike and assaulted, suffering a broken finger.

Officers believe the incidents could be linked and are appealing to anyone with information or may have witnessed the attacks to come forward.
